A great alternative to pills and tablets

These products were packaged as sanitary and clean as bulk pharmaceutical grade ingredients, They are resealable with a ziplock opening and it is very easy to dispense each weighing from the bag.

Better source of Zeaxanthin than eye pills

I used to take eye supplements with zeaxanthin to help with my macula, but those supplements are so expensive and usually have very little zeaxanthin. This is a much better way to get zeaxanthin at a more cost effective price, as only a little goes a long ways. It has a mild flavor, and is orange if that effects what you want to mix it into. But it mixes into most things well with little flavor and is a much more effective way to control your level of zeaxanthin intake.

Zeaxanthin 5% Powder

The following is a list of clinical trials, most double-blinded and placebo-controlled, recorded at the National Medical Library, MEDLINE, as abstracted by GreenMedInfo for Zeaxanthin. 1. Decreased intake of vegetables and fruits during pregnancy and the consequent decreased intake of nutrients such as folate and lutein/zeaxanthin, necessary for DNA methylation, synthesis, and retinal function, may increase risk for having a child with sporadic retinoblastoma. 2. Additional consumption of one egg per day increases serum lutein plus zeaxanthin concentration and lowers oxidized low-density lipoprotein. 3. Co-consuming cooked whole eggs is an effective way to enhance carotenoid absorption from other carotenoid-rich foods. 4. Dietary intake of B vitamins may affect the occurrence of age-related lens opacities. 5. High combined intakes of vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, and lutein-zeaxanthin from food, or a diet high in their food sources, may protect against cumulative DNA damage in ionizing radiation persons. 6. Higher intake of bioavailable lutein and zeaxanthin is associated with a long-term reduced risk of advanced age-related macular degeneration. 7. Higher plasma lutein and zeaxanthin are associated with better cognitive function. 8. Intake of vegetables appears to decrease premenopausal breast cancer risk. 9. Supplementation with lutein and zeaxanthin improves CNS xanthophyll levels and cognitive function in healthy adults. 10. Supplementation with the carotenoids lutein or zeaxanthin improves human visual performance. 11. The carotenoids meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin augment macular pigmentation. 12. The results suggest a protective role of α-carotene, β-carotene, lycopene , lutein and zeaxanthin in breast cancer risk. 13. These findings show that lutein and zeaxanthin influence white matter integrity, particularly in regions vulnerable to age-related decline. 14. Vegetables and fruits rich in lycopene and other carotenoids may be protective against prostate cancer. 15. A variety of carotenoids induce reduce resistance to chemotherapy in multidrug resistant lymphoma and human breast cancer cell lines. 16. Daily zeaxanthin supplementation prevents atrophy of the retinal pigment epithelium. 17. Oleic acid can be used as a suitable fat source to modulate the absorption of dietary lutein and zeaxanthin from green leafy vegetables to manage age-related macular degeneration. 18. Current publications on the preventive and therapeutic effects of lutein and zeaxanthin on cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, have reported encouraging results. 19. Lutein and zeaxanthin are conditionally essential nutrients needed to protect the macula. 20. Lutein and zeaxanthin supplementation reduces photooxidative damage and modulates the expression of inflammation-related genes. 21. Putative protective role of lutein and zeaxanthin in diabetic retinopathy. 22. Recent studies indicated that high dietary intake of six main carotenoids was associated with reduced risk of stroke. 23. Restoring the anti-oxidative capabilities of the retina by increasing intake of lutein and zeaxanthin reduces the likelihood of AMD and cataract. 24. The Photobiology of lutein and zeaxanthin in the eye. 25. This review highlights the protective effects of carotenoids in the development and progression of diabetic microvascular complications. 26. Zeaxanthin reduces the virulence and biofilm of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
