It seems to help with my thinking. I was low on carnitine in a lab. I would appreciate the zip seal at the top of the bag to work better though. The powder gets in it or the zipper doesn't line up at the ends. Then I have to roll it down and clip it instead. Maybe a Velcro type would be better???

United StatesAt first this made my mouth get dry but after I increased my water intake I noticed I have a lot more energy and drive! I mix this with amino acids or my pre workout drink and this powder dissolves completely in water before adding anything else to the water. Solid product!

I'm in my mid-seventies, and I began taking Alcar two years ago. Pills, of course. About two years ago, I was researching what to do about excessive PVC's in my heart beat. Acetyl-L-Carnitine was suggested, and I tried it. Within a day, my PVC's were back to normal. I also noticed greatly increased energy. That spring I filled five raised-bed gardens, hauling soil from the old, huge, now-shaded garden by wheelbarrow. I feel twenty years younger. Or more. Alcar metabolizes fairly quickly in the body, and I didn't want to take another pill five or six times a day. I ordered the bulk powder, and it mixes very well with water. I mix it into my Pauling-Rath formula, which I drink with every meal. Great stuff!
