I previously bought Lot Number 2000206 it was pink in colour & the smell & taste was like blood orange. I recently bought Lot Number 2307408 it is beige / yellow in colour & the smell & taste is like biscuit / malt. Anthocyanins in the blood orange are the purple that you see in the fruit & juice & would turn pink / red once dried. They are what distinguishes them from a normal orange. I’m guessing that the newer Lot has little to no anthocyanin in it & should have been rejected & returned to their supplier.
